A young Police officer stationed at the Central Police station in Koforidua the Eastern Regional Capital has died few hours after complaining of ill health.
Maxwell Amo Mensah who was a driver reported complained of not feeling well Monday, March 22, 2021, and went to the Police Hospital for treatment.
He was discharged the same day and returned to work but died on Tuesday, March 23, 2021.
The cause of death is not known.
His body has been deposited at the morgue.
The death of Maxwell Amo Mensah has shocked police officers at the Koforidua Divisional Police Command.
This is the second death in less than a year at the Police station.
The Station officer at the Police station Chief Inspector Ebenezer Sakyi died in May 2020 from Covid-19.
