The management of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) has directed students who were late in the payment of their fees to defer the academic year.
There has not been confirmation on the said direction from management, neither have they given their reasons on such a decision but the communiqué which was posted in the student’s groups claims it is from of the office of the Rector.
The message goes to all students who paid their fees after the registration deadline which was indicated on the student’s portal.
Most students after hearing this news have shared their sentiments and disappointments in the management for what they consider as unfair treatment on their behalf towards them.

“Management of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, at its meeting held on Monday, March 22, 2021, decided that students who paid their fees after the registration deadline should defer their program”
