Gradually, Ghana is winning the fight against the Pandemic COVID -19 as Active cases keep on dropping for the past one month of vaccination of selected citizens.
Active cases as of 20th March 2021 stand at 2,911, compared to over 7,000 in the middle of February 2021.
A total of 106 New COVID -19 cases have been recorded in Ghana and the number of deaths has increased from 731 to 734.
A total of 33 patients are in severe 13 patients are also in critical condition.
Ghana has confirmed 89,893 COVID cases for the past year and recorded 86,248 recoveries.
The number of tests conducted so far stands at 975,812.
Pharmaceutical companies in Ghana will soon begin the packaging of the Covid-19 vaccine in the country, according to the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA).
According to the regulatory authority, the country could start the importation of unpackaged Covid-19 vaccines in bulk for local pharmaceutical companies to fill into vials.
