Saudi Arabia giants Al-Ahli Jeddah are preparing a transfer fee of $850,000 to sign Abdul Ganiyu Ishmael from Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko.
The 24-year old has been outstanding for the Porcupine Warriors in the ongoing Ghana Premier League campaign.
His impressive run of form earned him a call up into the national team for the just-ended 2021 AFCON qualifiers where he made his Ghana debut against South Africa.
The enterprising defender made a strong case for home-based following his outstanding performance in the doubleheader against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe.
According to reports, Al-Ahli will in the coming days submit a bid of about $850,000 to sign the towering guardsman.
The reports further indicate that two South African clubs are also interested in the player.
