A motorbike rider, Gabriel Argmor, 27, has died after he crashed into a stationary timber trailer truck vehicle on Begoro to Ahomamu road in the Fanteakwa North District in the Eastern region.
According to the local Police, on April 20, 2021, at about 7:00pm, they received information that there was an accident involving a motorbike along the Begoro-Ahomam motor road.
Police were dispatched to the scene of the accident which was in between Akoradako village and Ahomam near the community refuse dump where a lifeless body of a male adult was seen lying in a pool of blood with a deep cut on the head on the right side shoulders of the road facing Ahomam direction.
The Police say, they noticed a timber truck with registration number GT 2899 – Q loaded with 5 timber logs parked at the opposite lane facing Obuohu direction while the Houjin motorbike was also found lying under the truck.
Preliminary investigation by Police led by Corporal Roland Owusu the investigator, the deceased known as Gabriel Argmor, 27, was riding unregistered Houjin motorbike from Ahomam towards Akoradako and on reaching a section of the road he ran into the rear portion of the stationary timber trailer and died instantly.
The Acting Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police Command, Sergeant Francis Gomado, and the body of the deceased has been removed and deposited at Begoro District Hospital mortuary for preservation pending identification and autopsy.
Accident unregistered Houjin motorbike has been towed to the police station awaiting testing and examination by DVLA Technician.
