Oti Regional Minister, Hon. Joseph Makubu has expressed his disappointment in Ghanaians for participating in the #fixthecountry campaign.
“Ghanaians have been unfair to the President for starting this initiative because the government has performed tremendously in their term of office.”
Fix the country campaign was initiated by a Twitter influencer who after making a tweet got lots of comments from people who joined in the campaign and it has been viral since then.
According to him, he doesn’t understand why Ghanaians will initiate such a campaign when the government is working hard to develop the country.
He stated some initiatives implemented by the government to decrease the rate of unemployment amongst the youth in the country.
“The government started the NAPCO initiative which has provided the youth with jobs, we also came up with Local Government Recruitment which has provided them with jobs”, he said.
He assured Ghanaians that the government is fixing the country thus the citizens should be appreciative and supportive so the government can complete its term of office successfully.
