Ghana joins the rest of the world to observe World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD) today, 17th May 2021, which is celebrated annually.
This year the theme of this day is “Accelerating Digital Transformation in challenging times”. The day, previously known as ‘World Telecommunication Day, is celebrated each year to commemorate the founding of the International Telecommunication Union on 17 May 1865.
