A 23-year-old woman has drowned in the Volta River in Asuogyaman District.
The deceased identified as Atsupe Hamah was found dead in one of the tributaries in Volta river at Dzidzorkope a suburb at Atimpoku.
The body of the deceased has been retrieved and deposited at the VRA Hospital morgue by a joint team of NADMO and Police.
Preliminary investigation indicates the deceased was Epileptic.
It is however not established how she drowned.
The body has been deposited at the VRA Hospital Morgue.
