Pupils in Agona Swedru Methodist “B” School in the Agona Municipality of the Central Region have been forced to study under trees Monday after their classrooms were shit bombed last night.
Teachers and pupils came to school Monday to see human feces in their classrooms. Even though the feces have been cleaned and classrooms washed, the stench could still be smelled disrupting academic work.
According to teachers in the school, defecation in classrooms by unscrupulous persons started months ago when school reopened after a long Covid-19 break.
Pupils have been cleaning and washing feces almost every week.
Headteacher of the School, Akwasi Ahensan Napoleon told Bryt FM News Correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah that the situation is unbearable.
He said, the perpetrators once defecated into a bowl belonging to a teacher and dumped it in a classroom.
He said the school needs a security man to Ward off the perpetrators at night.
The Headteacher however appealed to the authorities at the Agona Swedru Township, Assembly, and Security Agencies to intervene immediately as teachers in the school are seething with anger threatening to go on strike.
