Justice of the Court of Appeal, Justice George Kingsley Koomson, Security Expert, Vladimir Antwi-Danso, and the Executive Director of Penplusbyte, Miss Juliet A. Amoah will today start an investigation into the situations that led to the shooting to death of two persons by the military at Ejura in the Ashanti region.
The three-member Committee of Inquiry is expected to begin its sittings from today, Tuesday, July 6, 2021.
The three-member Committee is expected to complete its work within ten days.
The purpose of the committee is to provide a detailed report from the inquiry, with recommendations for appropriate action by July 09, 2021.
Meanwhile, President Akufo-Ado last Wednesday ordered Interior Minister Ambrose Dery to conduct a Public Inquiry into the circumstances that led to the Ejura killings.
