Member of Parliament for Obuasi East constituency, Hon Patrick Boakye Yiadom, has expressed his utmost pleasure to His Excellency Nana Addo Darkwa and his NPP government for fulfilling their promises to reestablish AngloGold (Ghana) Limited.
According to him, Anglo Gold (Ghana) limited had collapsed for four good years but because of Nana Addo and his gallant men, the mining company has restored its lost glories.
He stated that the AngloGold (Ghana) Limited in the Ashanti region has provided more employment to the people in Obuasi and its nearby communities.
He added that the reinstallation of the mining company by the NPP government is going to bring more developmental projects in Obuasi East constituency and its environs.
‘’The gold production company had paid an amount of US$250,000 dollars to the Community Trust Fund, for the community to use it for some developmental projects in the community and its surroundings’’ he stated.
In furtherance, the mining company is going to help Obuasi east constituency to come out of their poverty hence enable them to reflect the wealth that their soil will generate.
Speaking to Dadi FM, Hon Patrick Boakye Yiadom commended the president for fulfilling his campaign messages as he believes the good work done so far will speak for him in the upcoming general elections.
He, therefore, urged Ghanaians to vote massively for Nana Addo and his government to continue with their good work.
