Former Managing Director of the Bulk Oil Storage and Transport Company (BOST), Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng has said it vehemently that he will unseat the incumbent MP in the person of Aboagye Gyedu since the contest is no match for him.
Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng who picked his forms to contest the incumbent MP, Kingsley Aboagye Gyedu who doubles as the Western North Regional Minister last week at Bibiani said he will win the primaries convincingly since the entire residents of the Constituency are calling on him to come to their rescue.
Mr. Alfred Obeng is optimistic to slug it out with the incumbent Member of Parliament (MP) and Western North Regional Minister, Mr. Kingsley Aboagye Gyedu.
He said, His decision to contest the primary, according to him, follows a call on him by many party members and opinion leaders in the constituency to represent them in Parliament.
This came to light after picking his form to contest for the 2020 NPP parliamentary primaries.
He urged his followers to remain calm and embark on campaign devoid of insults and defamatory statements.
Mr. Alfred Obeng Boateng further advised his opponents to also talk to their followers to be mindful of their dictions during the campaign.
