The General Secretary of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), Thomas Musah has said that the Ghana Education Service will investigate reports of food shortage in some Senior High Schools.
Thomas Musah went on that the service will investigate the reports of shortages of non-perishable foods, distributed by the National Food Buffer Stock Company.
He said they used state funds to purchase perishable food items to schools hence they will probe into the report.
Speaking to an Accra-based radio station, Thomas Musah expressed the anxieties from his union over the matter.
Meanwhile, some parents affirmed that the dining hall menus in some schools were unsatisfactory.
