President of Serbia, His Excellency Aleksandar Vučić, has doubled scholarship opportunities to Ghanaian students from sixteen (16) to thirty-two (32).
Available to students from non-aligned countries, the 2020 Ghanaian scholarship contingent includes undergraduate, post-graduate, and Ph.D. students in the area of medicine.
This Serbia scholarship covers entire tuition fees and monthly remunerations to all of its grantees, and the amount of the monthly allowance depends on the country of choice.
It also covers the entire tuition fees for its grantees, including registration and other additional administrative costs. In addition, international students can apply for Erasmus+ grants at their home universities and these are usually budget options, but they can cover necessities, especially in a country with a lower cost of living.
This Serbian Government Scholarship offers scholarships to international students from the Non-Aligned Movement member states or observer states. This movement is the largest organization of countries after the UN, with over 120 member countries. Students applying for all higher education levels of studies can apply for “The World in Serbia.”
The scholarship is a part of the program organized by The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development that has allocated RSD 262,750,000 for this project, and a total of 200 students will be awarded yearly.
