The Ghana Police Service has arrested two Suspects at Akuapem Adawso in the Eastern region for stripping two Juveniles naked and publicly parading on the streets
They were arrested Wednesday, according to a statement signed by Director of Public Affairs ACP Kwasi -Fori.
He said the victims were on board an ambulance to Accra for emergency medical attention while a psychologist was assigned to assist the families.
The 14-year-olds were seen in a video intercepted by mybrytfmonline.com being paraded completely naked on the street from the Tinkong stretch of the highways to the Adawso market area.
The mob led by one Larbi and Akwei prevented a woman from offering cloth to cover the nakedness of the teenagers.
Mybrytfmonline.com has established that the incident occurred Friday, October 29, 2021, that, the victims were alleged to have stolen Ghc100 and a mobile phone.
They were busted, beaten mercilessly while the stolen items were taken away from them. As if that was not enough, the mob stripped the two juvenile suspects naked and paraded them on the street.
One of the victims defecated on himself as a result of the traumatic shock out of the brutality.
Mybrytfmonline.com also gathered in the community that, one of the juvenile Suspects identified as Asare, is a school dropout whose mother is deaf and dumb.
Hence her sister Augustina Danso, who spoke on her behalf, says the family is scandalized by the inhumane treatment meted out to her son hence calling for justice to be served.
The case was initially reported at Adawso Police station but was transferred to Akropong District Police command however, police were slow at investigation.
