An unregistered Toyota Vitz saloon car has been completely burnt at Akyem Osiem in the Eastern Region.
The incident occurred on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at about 11:00pm in front of Hawa Memorial Saviour Hospital.
According to a witness who identified himself as Asirifi, the vehicle caught fire while moving towards Koforidua direction but the driver managed to stop and escaped hence no casualty was recorded.
The fire consumed the car before the arrival of the Ghana National Fire Service although doused it.
The cause of the fire is not known.
