Northern Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mohammed Bantama Samba is set to begin construction of a regional party office, mybrytfmonline.com can confirm.
The Chairman, before the party’s internal elections about four years ago, promised to put up an ultra-modern edifice for the party but has been quiet since assumption into office.
However, Chairman Samba has disclosed to the media that the project will kick start today, 14th December 2021
Meanwhile, some critics indicated the chairman has only decided to cut sod for a project he used as a campaign promise to win the chairmanship some four years ago but never fulfilled it.
Some also said the Chairman is smiling defeat at the upcoming regional congress of the party has pushed him to run out to announce a start of the Party headquarters tomorrow.
They also accused chairman Samba of deliberately neglecting so many road projects under his watch in the Northern region, some of which he raised certificates of payment and has since been paid, yet he has failed to work on them.
