Deputy Majority Leader in Parliament and the Member of Parliament for the Effutu Constituency, Alexander Kwamina Afenyo- Markin has charged businessmen in the country to consider coming to Winneba to invest, according to Bryt FM correspondent Eric Owusu Amponsah.
According to him, business moguls must have a strong faith in Winneba’s economy and invest because they have the market that can yield profit to all investors.
The Effutu Constituency lawmaker has admitted it is indeed expensive to stay in Winneba but they may need investors into their lands towards a reduction of the housing deficit in the area.
Addressing a gathering at the National Vocational Training Institute(NVTI) at Winneba, after inaugurating an Ultra – Morden ICT Center, Sowing/Fashion Designing, a Library and commissioning of two (2) pavilions for the school, entreated all and sundry to work hard to help achieve the Effutu Dream.
He has however bemoaned the need for all to consider giving some respect to those who attend National Vocational Training Schools for they are also contributing their quota for the country.
Meanwhile, the Principal of the Winneba NVTI, Martin Ekow Young after elaborating on challenges confronting the school, also expressed gratitude to the MP for the support in constructing numerous projects for them.
