In keeping with the promise of the President of the Republic, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to reconstruct the Appiatse township into a modern, green and sustainable community, the Lands and Natural Resources Minister has inaugurated the Appiatse Reconstruction Project Implementation Committee.
The Committee, chaired by a distinguished surveyor and Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Hon. Benito Owusu-Bio, MP, is to see to the reconstruction of the community.
The multi-sectoral nature of the Committee is to ensure that we bring all experts on board to help in building this community to a modern one.
The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources will work closely with the committee to ensure the reconstruction of the community.
Later in the day, I attended Parliament and answered several questions relating to the Ministry of Land and Natural Resources.
The minister, John Abu Jinapor assured the House of our total commitment to manage the lands and natural resources of our country for the benefit of the good people of Ghana.
