Five (5) persons have reportedly died in multiple vehicular accidents which occurred Friday on Koforidua to Suhum highway in the Eastern region.
It happened in two separate fatal accidents which occurred within some minutes intervals between the Akwadum and Kwayisi herbal center stretch of the road.
The six (6) vehicles involved in the accidents include three commercial vehicles, two private cars, and a Truck.
Personnel from Ghana Police Service and Ghana National service were at the scene to convey the injured to the hospital.
The dead bodies have been deposited at Eastern Regional Hospital while the injured were admitted to the same Hospital.
The cause of the accidents is yet to be established.
