Ahead of 6th March, the final planning committee meeting in preparation towards the 65th Independence Anniversary Celebration to be held in Cape Coast has been held.
The week-long Independence anniversary celebration is centered on boosting the local economy, telling the story of our independence, exhibiting our rich cultural heritage, building on our sense of patriotism, and honoring our founding fathers.
The 65th Independence Anniversary, Cape Coast 2022 which is on the theme: “Working Together, Bouncing Back Better” promises to be mega and spectacular.
Ghana since independence on 6th March 1957 has annually been marking the day across the country with all security agencies, government agencies, students, and a cross-section of civilians gathering to march past to celebrate the country’s freedom from the white.
