The Presiding Bishop of Perez Chapel International, Bishop Agyin Asare has said that the debt incurred by politicians in the country will make children yet to be born owe the country for the next 30 years all because politicians have sold all future resources to foreign nationals.
According to the Presiding Bishop of Perez Chapel International, the country’s future income has been mortgaged over time due to the country’s debt.
In an interview broadcast on Joy FM’s ‘A Walk With Jesus’ on Sunday, he said that this borrowing mindset has been in existence from the beginning of time.
According to him, if the borrowing culture continues, it will have a negative impact on the next generation in significant ways.
“So our children yet unborn are already owing for the next 30 years,” he added.
Bishop Agyinasare advised the country’s leaders to modify their thoughts about how to use future resources to rescue future generations.
In addition, he said Ghana lacked a strategic plan when asked about the country’s national agenda.
He said the country should have a strategic plan for development projects to hold leaders accountable for their promises.
According to him, as a result of the lack of a strategic plan, “any government comes and toys with our emotions.”
He also denounced governments’ politicization of the educational system, claiming that their children are unaffected.
