Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament, Alban Kingsford Bagbin has urged member states to stay united and focus on Africa to achieve its Agenda 2063 objective.
In his African Union (AU) Day statement, the Speaker said the AU has an objective to see member states trade among themselves and developing strong African economy.
25th May every year is set aside by the AU since 1963, when it was then referred to as the Organisation of the African Unity (OAU).
Despite being observed as a holiday in some member countries, Ghana finds itself in the camp of other member states that think otherwise.
