Member of Parliament for Effutu, Alexander Afenyo-Markin is been celebrated by the people of Effutu for his contribution to the development of the constituency under the ‘Effutu Dream Project’.
The Deputy Majority Leader is celebrating his birthday Friday, May 27, 2022, and is been praised for his enormous policies and projects that have raised the image of Effutu to the world.
The MP facilitated the hosting of the ECOWAS Parliament in Effutu last year which brought together dignitaries across the West African region.
For the first time in its history, ECOWAS had its extraordinary session in a place other than the national capitals of member states.
The success of the extraordinary session made it possible for the main session to be held in Winneba again in October, instead of Accra, the national capital.
Hon. Afenyo-Markin again initiated the Effutu Dream Project which is aimed at beautifying Effutu and making the area eco-friendly.
The MP who is also the Deputy Majority Leader in Ghana’s Parliament, since joining the House has undertaken many projects under the project to help improve the living conditions of his constituents and also ensure the area gets its fair share of the national cake.
