Thomas Ampem Nyarko, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Asuogyaman Constituency has presented 18 mono desks to Abume D/A Primary school and 30 to South – Senchi D/A Primary school respectively.
The presentation according to the MP, is to improve upon teaching and learning in the school.
The district has been hit hard by the shortage of desks in most schools which needed urgent interventions, hence the swift intervention by the NDC lawmaker.
Headteachers of the beneficiary schools made a request through the office of the MP for support which he subsequently offered to ease congestion in the classroom to enhance effective teaching and learning.
The presentations were made on behalf of the MP by the Assembly Member for Kyease Electoral Area, Hon David Quansah and the Deputy Constituency Women Organizer, NDC Hon. Irene Doe Sefakor respectively.
Both schools were appreciative of the benevolence of the MP
