The government deserves commendation for rehabilitating and reopening the National Museum, ace investigative journalist Manasseh Azure has stated.
The facility was closed down to enable rehabilitation works to go on in lifting the image of the Museum.
The National Museum of Ghana is owned and operated by the Ghana Museums and Monuments Board (GMMB), and has been in operation since March 5th, 1957.
The museum has three primary collection areas; archaeology, ethnography, and art, which are used to weave together a story about Ghana’s rich cultural history.
The museum offers internships to students of all disciplines, and from all backgrounds on a rolling basis (throughout the year).
