Madam Justina Marigold Assan, the Central Regional minister has presented 100 pieces of streetlights to the Swedruman Council of Chiefs.
This forms part of her contribution towards improving night activities, visibility and security in Swedru Township towards preparations for the 40 days observation ceremony for the late Chief of Agona Swedru, Ogidigram Okrupi Kobina Asiedu Botwe II.
Also, the minister presented an undisclosed amount of money to the fundraising committee to aid in the planning of the event.
Additionally, she handed over a Rubbish Collection Truck from Zoomlion Ghana Limited to the Agona West Municipal Assembly to augment the Assembly’s efforts in improving sanitation in the municipality.
