The President of the National House of Chiefs and Paramount Chief of Sefwi Wiaso, Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, has refuted claims that he has created an office at Tarkwa through which he is recruiting foreigners into the Asante Gold Corporation, a mining company in Bibiani.
Speaking on the matter, he dared those propagandists to prove their allegations with evidence, adding that some miscreants who want to cause confusion as well as to achieve their political and chieftaincy interests want popularity for themselves are behind the rumour.
“I have not employed any foreigner” he reiterated.
Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II further counted numerous achievements, and developments brought to Bibiani Ahwiaso Bekwai Municipality under his leadership, spanning from education, health, improving livelihood and many others.
Touching on the current insecurity and murder incidence in the municipality, he narrated how these squalid acts started and urged inhabitants of Sefwi and its environs especially the youth to work hard for clean money and avoid engaging in murderous activities for ritual money since it is tarnishing the image of Sefwi.
