On Tuesday 2nd August, Education minister Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum inaugurated the Governing Councils of ten Colleges of Education.
The Governing Councils are to help spearhead the affairs of the Colleges of Education and ensure it’s smooth running to improve academic performance.
The Colleges of Education were; Kibi College of Education, OLA College of Education, Peki College of Education, Fosu College of Education, Holy Child College of Education, Tamale College of Education, St. Louis College of Education, St. John Bosco College of Education, St. Monica’s College of Education and the Gambaga College of Education.
The minister challenged all Council members to explore innovative and creative ways to maintain the quality of Teacher training while training assertive and empowered trainees who will also empower our children in the classroom.
