The Special Prosecutor has ordered the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority to halt all auction sales pending ongoing investigations.
According to a statement signed by Mr Kissi Agyabeng on 22nd August 2022 indicated the Office is currently investigating corruption and corruption-related offences in respect of auction sales between 1st July 2016 to 15th August 2022.
The SP on 19th August 2022 directed the Commissioner of the Customs Division to provide some important particulars to his office not later than 30th September 2022.
