The latest report from the Ghana Health Service indicates that a total of 8,224,173(36% of 22.9m) of 25.9% of the total population have been fully Vaccinated from 2020 to 24th August 2022.
Persons receiving at least the first dose stand at 11,351,092(49.7% of 22.9m) in 35.8% of the total population.
Also, persons receiving the first booster dose stand at 1,753,748.
Currently, Ghana has endorsed AstraZeneca, Sputnik- V, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, and Jansen vaccines to vaccinate persons from 15 years the population, including pregnant women.
Total Vaccine Doses Administered as of 24th August is 18,986,179.
Despite efforts made by most Ghanaians to curb the spread and death, a total of 1,459 people have died of the virus since 2020 and active cases as of 24th August stand at 86 but fortunately, no Severe and Critical cases.
