The Department of Communication Studies, University of Ghana is 50 years and has been held as such.
As part of the department’s 50th anniversary, a public lecture has been organised to commemorate the yearlong celebration.
Chairman of NCCE, Ms Kathleen Addy, alumna, was among other communication professionals who were specially invited to discuss the theme for the lecture, ‘Communicating development beyond politics: Can the tenets of strategic communication help in the digital era?
The President of African University College of Communications, Mr Kojo Yankah was the keynote speaker. Other discussants were Dr Mustapha Hamid, CEO of the National Petroleum Authority and Madam Esther Cobbah, CEO of Stratcomm Africa.
