A high-level Ghanaian delegation visited Denmark last week to learn about the Danish experiences with the digitalization of the public sector, the management of citizen data from birth to death, and the fusion of various administrative data touch points for the creation of population censuses and other policy planning objectives.
The trip is a component of the interagency collaboration between the Ghana Statistical Service and Statistics Denmark under the ongoing Strategic Sector Cooperation.
The delegation had meetings with both public and private actors participating in Denmark’s public digitalization, including the Ministry of Finance, Digital Hub Denmark, DI – Danish Confederation of Industry, Healthcare Denmark, and Central Personal Register.
The Danish Embassy in Ghana looks forward to continuing the dialogue with Ghanaian authorities on how we can support Ghana achieve its digitalization goals.
