“Not that we cannot respond to those false campaign messages but as we all know, NPP is in power and we want to protect the sanctity of the party”, he said.
He said although many of the regional executives have gone contrary to the party rules and campaigning for their opponent, that he said does not pose a threat to their overwhelming victory awaiting Mr. Assibey Yeboah after the internal election.
“For us, we are not afraid because they join the campaign team for Baafi, however, they must be truthful and tell what they think their candidate can do and not to tell all sorts of lies about their opponent”, he added.
Mr. Oteng reiterated that the election is going to be one of the easiest ones in the history of all internal elections held by the New Patriotic Party in favor of the chairman of the Finance Committee in Parliament, Mr. Mark Assibey Yeboah.
