A Sub Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) led by its Chairperson, Ms Aretha A. A Duku monitored twenty (20) selected ongoing project sites in the Eastern Region.
The trip took the team to; TVET Centre of Excellence, Anyinam, Atiwa East, Abomosu Senior High Model School, Atiwa West, Abuakwa State College and the Kibi Presbyterian College of Education, Abuakwa South.
There were a total of twenty (20) school projects at the various stages of completion the team visited. Aside from the two newly built schools (TVET Centre of Excellence and the Model School), the existing schools have had massive structural additions.
For instance, a 5-storey lecture hall and office complex structure at the College of Education, and a 2-storey 12-unit classroom block, at the Abuakwa State College among others.
