Hon. Everson Addo-Donkor, DCE for Techiman North in the Bono East Region has reiterated the NPP Government’s commitment to bridging the gap between rural and urban areas in order to avert unnecessary migration which has very serious negative repercussions.
It is in this direction that the Government irrespective of the global economic challenges is spreading to every corner of the country jobs and wealth creation opportunities, construction of roads, electricity, water, schools, health and several other infrastructural developments that makes the urban cities preferable to rural areas to improve the livelihoods of the Citizenry.
He made these remarks when he on behalf of the Bono East Regional Minister, Kwasi Adu-Gyan officially took Falco Construction Ltd to Tuobodom the Techiman North District capital for the first ever Traffic Lights project which is expected to be completed in 3 months’ time.
For his part, Mr Abraham Dankwah the Bono East Regional Urban Roads Director said Government is committed to seeing the safety of the People hence the construction of the Tuobodom traffic lights.
