Member of Parliament for Mpohor constituency, Hon. John Kobina Abbam Aboah Sanie last Thursday donated 22,000 palm kernel seedlings to farmers in the Mpohor District.
This forms the completion of Phase I of a double-phased zonal program, that will see a total of 50,000 palm kernel seedlings being donated to farmers across the entire Mpohor District.
The MP was of the view the presentation will encourage many constituents to go into palm kernel production which is now a lucrative business in the country.
The Government has asked Ghanaians to enter into agriculture as the introduction of policies such as Planting for Food and Jobs as well as Rearing for Food and Jobs have had a positive impact on the country’s economy.
