As part of efforts at consolidating a robust power sector, the Energy minister, Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh met officials of the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA) last Friday at the Ministry of Energy.
Their discussions centred on Ghana’s previous relationship with the Authority, as anchored on the two compact arrangements which saw Ghana’s energy sector benefiting immensely from compact II.
They also discussed ways by which Ghana’s energy sector could once again partner and collaborate with the Authority, going forward as we work assiduously to keep the lights on for domestic and industrial use.
As we continue to engage, the minister was hopeful that we will secure the right partnerships for the development of our energy sector which will have a positive impact on other sectors of the Ghanaian economy.
