Tanker drivers were schooled on the hazards and dangers of careless haulage of fuel at Asankrangwa to mark the World Disaster Day Celebration.
The team of Safety Educators from Asankrangwa Fire Command used the opportunity to create awareness of the hazards of careless haulage of fuel in gallons and vehicles.
They also advocated for a bypass to ensure that fuel tankers do not haul fuel in other commercial areas.
The tanker drivers were given safety measures in preventing the occurrence of vehicular fires and accidents as a result of fuel siphoning.
