Nigeria’s national oil corporation is getting ready to develop a 5,600-kilometer energy supply path that will cost $25 billion and link the country to Morocco.
The National Petroleum Company Limited has reportedly signed four more memoranda of understanding on the execution of the Nigeria-Morocco Gas Pipeline.
The project could potentially open a new energy supply path for West Africa and Europe.
It comes as Europe reportedly eyes Nigeria as an alternative to Russia as an energy source.
