Energy Minister Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh says if African leaders will stand united with a collective voice, they can change the African energy sector narrative.
At a leadership dialogue for selected Energy Ministers and major international energy players in the private sector at the African Energy Week, Dr Prempeh asked colleague Ministers not to mince words in stating strongly, their views on a fair and equitable energy transition.
This, he says, will secure the respective pathways of countries for sustained economic growth.
The minister was optimistic it was time for Africans to take up the task and desist from depending on western countries for everything.
