GIPC participated in the just-ended African Energy Week 2022, which took place in Cape Town, South Africa.
The conference brought together African energy policymakers, companies, regulators, & financing partners, to discuss matters relating to Africa’s energy future.
On Day 3, the Centre’s Deputy CEO, Yaw Afriyie, joined government and industry colleagues to make the investment case in the hydrocarbons and renewables sectors.
The panel discussion focused on Ghana’s experience with private sector involvement in the oil and gas sector and the country’s business-enabling policies.
It also highlighted the opportunities that exist in the industry.
