The newly elected constituency Chairman for Asawase for the opposition party NDC, Faisa Dauda, a.k.a Chairman Concern, has assured members of the party who have goodwill with good standing that his outfit as constituency chairman would not prevent anyone from the upcoming parliamentary primary slated to 2023.
He said, gone are the days where some individuals members with good standing were prevented from the contest which he thinks doesn’t speak well for a political party believes in Democracy.
It recall that, during the last parliamentary primary held in Asawase, one of the leading contestants called Masawudu shown interest to contest the incumbent MP Hon Muntaka Mohammed but the previous administration prevented him from the contest which flamed chaos among his supporters and the executives.
Speaking at the unity health walk organised by the youth wing of the party at Asawase, the constituency Chairman, Faisa Dauda, chairman concern, said that never again in Asawase constituency for such unfortunate incident will happened as he lead the party.
He said the purpose for the health walk was to foster unity among the members after the internal elections and will help to rekindle the spirit among the youth ahead of 2024 general elections.
He said the party is targeting on 100,000 votes for ndc comes 2024 general elections to help bring the former President John Dramani Mahama back to lead the country.
