Amid the war Russia-Ukraine conflict, former chief of defense staff of the Gambia, General (Rtd) Lang Tombong Tamba has assumed his diplomatic assignment as Gambia’s deputy ambassador to Russian.
Lang Tombong Tamba served under former President Jammeh as chief of defense staff. This is his first official appointment in the Adama Barrow presidency.
Dressed in his diplomatic suite and seated in his furnished office, Gambians await to see what would come from his diplomatic assignment.
