The Eastern Regional Minister, Seth Kwame Acheampong has commended the management of SDA College of Education at Koforidua Asokore for utilising internally generated funds to undertake my development projects to assist the government.
He indicated the college over the past years has seen tremendous transformation due to the hard work of the management and encouraged them to do more.
According to the minister, management of the school under the Outgoing Principal Prof. William Kofi Koosom has really done a lot to mitigate government support.
Speaking at the 60th anniversary of the SDA College of Education, the minister however emphasised the vision of the Education Ministry to ensure equitable, inclusive and quality education for all Ghanaian children to benefit from.
Meanwhile, the Acting Vice Principal of the College, Dr Cecilia Ofosua Odame on her part commended Government for the swift intervention to construct roads in the school.
She stressed that 4.55km of roads have been constructed in the first phase of the government intervention through the Ghana Highway Authority and hopes the second phase will start soon.
She used the opportunity to appeal to modern well-equipped lecturer theatres and also asked for a bus to solve the transportation needs of trainees.
