The Ghana Export Promotion Authority has inaugurated an Audit Committee, as legally mandated by the Public Financial Management Act of 2016 (Act 921), to support the implementation of audit recommendations and consequently reduce potential audit queries.
The functions of the Committee include but are not limited to; ensuring GEPA establishes detailed risk management procedures and efficient internal controls and reviewing organizational policies and administrative proceedings particularly those related to conflict of interest and ethics.
The committee comprises the following professionals from diverse backgrounds in the private and public sectors with long years of experience; Mr Rudolf D. Zimmermann, Mr Benjamin Anaman and Mr Eric Bright Davis.
The rests are Mr Prudence Attipoe Tonator and Dr Edward Nana Yaw Ofori- Kuragu.
