Kwame Asare Obeng (A Plus) has described the contempt judgement by the Tema High Court as ridiculous and shameful.
Commenting on the judgement of Thursday afternoon, the controversial social media commentator gave a scenario where under former President John Mahama, Hopeson Adoye paid Ghc3000.00 for contempt.
He also indicated that former Forestry Commission Boss, late Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie popularly known as Sir John paid Ghc10,000.00 and Sammy Awuku paid Ghc5000.00
A Plus stressed that “Under Akufo Addo and his useless government, there is so much inflation that we were convicted to a fine of 65.000.00 because 3000 can only by dragon spray and viagra”.
“My right to freedom of expression is inalienable. If you can’t stand me just die. Such a ridiculous and shameful judgement”.
Ashanti Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Benard Antwi Bosiako popularly known as Chairman Wontumi in the political space sued A Plus, Nana Ama Mcbrown and other panellists on UTV United Showbiz show over grounds of contempt.
Meanwhile, one of the accused persons, Afia Schwarzenegger has been jailed for 10 days in prison custody with the other three asked to pay Ghc180,000.00
