An inquiry into the death of the Democratic Republic of Congo’s spy chief has found that he died by hanging.
General Delphin Kahimbi was found dead last week at his home in the capital Kinshasa.
His wife said he died from a heart attack.
The general’s death came on the eve of a scheduled appearance before DR Congo’s security council to answer charges that he was plotting to destabilise the country.
There are also reports that he had been suspended from his duties.
Gen Kahimbi was under European Union sanctions for alleged human rights abuses.Article share tools.
