More tree planting took place today, Thursday, 1st December 2022 under the Green Streets Project to replace dead trees and also complete the Presec stretch of the highway.
Working gear was also presented to 12 temporary staff who have been recruited to maintain the trees.
The exercise was supervised by the Green Streets Projects Team and the Parks and Gardens.
The first phase was embarked on a few months ago with many trees planted on the country’s highways to provide shade and also make the environment green and healthy.
