Having worked in a security-military environment for many years, gave me some high-level insights into what is security prudence, and what is not.
Having had the privilege and the opportunity of walking and working closely with international experts, my understanding of internal and external security operations, and fraud crime intelligence gathering matters has also been broadly enhanced, over the years.
I know what is called, Need-to-Know, and the Need-to-Share, and as such, what might be looking so palatable and appealing to the eyes of the masses, might not really be prudent and profitable information to share in security terms, and managing security operations effectively, especially when a crime is to be dealt with productively in High-Intensity Crime Areas (HICAs).
Public education is key, but it can be misleading, and unprofitable when the right information is not shared, and possibly selecting the wrong platforms can even make it worse, especially, when the objective is to achieve security competence and compliance.
Crime is complex stuff, and it can be effectively managed when frontline security offices are shaded, and security operations are circumspectly conveyed by men and women of integrity and of right standing, applying common sense, and right judgment, at all material times.
Prevention is better than cure, and caution is preferred above naivety. I am blessed to have learned from the best brains.
